Within the Erasmus+ EU programme, the project VIRTUAL VOYAGES has been funded. The project aims to create virtual exchange opportunities for students focused on career decision-making and planning, the “learning to learn” competence, and soft skills development.
It builds upon an existing e-learning platform, thevoyage.eu, which will be updated and adapted to better reflect students’ current needs and learning preferences.
The project seeks to promote understanding, tolerance, and collaboration among 2,100 students from Romania, Italy, Turkey, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Armenia. Through virtual interaction and exchange of ideas, participants will enhance their competencies in career planning, lifelong learning, and essential soft skills, while also strengthening intercultural dialogue.
Project key objectives are the following:
- Enhancing Career Development Skills:
The project focuses on supporting students in making informed career decisions and developing planning skills through structured learning modules and interactive virtual exchanges.
- Strengthening Learning-to-Learn Competence:

- Developing Soft Skills:
Special attention is given to improving communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, which are essential for employability and personal development.
- Upgrading Digital Learning Tools:
The project includes the modernization and adaptation of the e-learning platform thevoyage.eu, ensuring accessibility, usability, and relevance to current student needs through innovative digital tools and resources.
- Supporting Educators and Trainers:

Through virtual exchanges, the project fosters mutual understanding and tolerance among participants from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, contributing to stronger international cooperation.
- Implementation of Innovative Learning Modules:
