Khetsuriani Sommelier and Wine School Caucasus University is announcing admission to the WSET level 2 course.

The WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) Certificate is an internationally recognized qualification in wine and alcoholic beverages and is designed for both alcoholic beverage professionals and beginners who want to deepen their knowledge of alcoholic beverages.

 

In order to pass WSET level 2, a Level 1 certificate is not required.

WSET level 2 graduates will have knowledge in the following areas:

- World wines, major regions and vine varieties;

- International standard of wine tasting;

- International standard of wine serving;

- Wine business and marketing;

- International standard of eno-gastronomic consistency;

 

The cost of the course includes:

- WSET Curriculum (Course Guide, Study Guide, and Tasting Sheet)

- Wines (WSET 2 - 30-35 wines)

- The tuition fee

- Exam sheet

- Official Certificate and WSET Badge.

- VAT 18%

 

If you have passed the WSET Level 2 course, the cost of attending the exam alone is 500 GEL.

The course is designed for prospective sommelier, wine production, sales, hotel or restaurant business professionals and enthusiasts who want to explore wine and other alcoholic beverages in a more structured way.

 

In the course, the trainee will study viticulture and winemaking issues, the factors that significantly affect the quality of wine. The lectures will focus on the most important wine regions of the world, vine varieties, wines and their characteristic aromas.

 

Tastings will be held daily during the course.

 

At the end of the course, a theoretical exam will be held, in case of successful passing of the exam, an international certificate and a WSET level 2 badge will be issued.

 

Course Schedule:

 

19, 22, 24, 26 November, 12:00 - 18:00

November 29 mock exam, 12:00 - 16:00

December 6 exam, 12: 00-13: 00
