The Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives sponsors a scholarship program for students and young scholars. Grants will be awarded for the academic year 2019/20. 

 

Eligible candidates:

 

Graduate and PhD students

 

The following documents must be enclosed with the application form in German:

 

• Curriculum vitae with a newer photo on the cover page
• Detailed and precise presentation of the study and research project as well as the presentation of the previous study and research work, which are of particular importance for the decision
• Letter of motivation in which the applicants describe what they want to achieve and do for society in the future and what is the significance of their research for which they apply for the scholarship in this context 
• Proof of existing contacts to Berlin university teachers or research institutions
• 2 recommendation letters. The letter must state the position of the expert

In addition, the following certificates must be submitted in copy:

 

• All university certificates on all annual examinations (with all individual grades)
• Diploma or university certificate with indication of the final grade.

 

The grants amount to 1,100 EUR for graduate and doctoral students

 

The submission deadline is 15th of December.
