International Bundestag Scholarship (IPS) 2018

German Parliament, together with the University of Berlin, is announcing a competition for young people interested in politics to win an International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS). Under the program, scholarship holders will be able to learn about political decision-making processes.

 

They will work for 15 weeks in the office of one of the members of the German parliament. 2200 students have already received the scholarship, 63 of them were from Georgia.

 

The German parliament covers travel, housing and insurance costs. In addition, it issues a monthly scholarship.

 

Prerequisites for participation in the competition are:

 

  • Citizenship of Georgia
  • Graduated from a University
  • Very good knowledge of German
  • A clear interest in political and public relations and German history
  • Public and political activism

 

Age limit: Under 30 years of age at the time of starting the program

 

The deadline for applications is June 30, 2017.
