Caucasus University is announcing applications for the spring semester of 2017 to participate in the Erasmus + exchange program.

 

The ERASMUS + exchange program for international student mobility involves covering travel expenses and issuing scholarships. The amount of the scholarship is determined for the students according to the host country and the university.

 

In the spring semester of 2017, student mobility is planned at the following universities:

To participate in the competition, active students of Caucasus University must submit the following documents in English:

 

• Copy of ID card / passport
• Completed application form (see Appendix # 1)
• EUROPASS CV (see Appendix # 2) (see Appendix # 3)
• Certificate of knowledge of a foreign language at least B2 level / (preference will be given to an internationally recognized certificate); .
• Mark sheet;
• Motivation letter;
• 1 letter of recommendation;
• Certificate of problem (s) related to economic, social or health condition (if any).

 

The following cannot participate:

 

• First and final year students of Bachelor’s degree programs
• Students of the second semester of the second stage of the master's program;
• Those who have already received an Erasmus Mundus grant at a similar level

 

The following applications will not be considered:

 

• Do not meet the requirements set out in the Framework Agreement for Participation in the Exchange Program and the Statute of the Department of International Relations of Caucasus University;
• Will be presented inadequately or not following the requirements;
• Will be presented late or gradually.

 

Candidates can submit their applications electronically by November 13, 2016 at the following address: ir@cu.edu.ge or in the form of original documents at the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations of Caucasus University (seventh floor, room A21) until 14:00 on November 12, 2016.

 

The candidate must indicate in the subject line of the e-mail the name of the university selected in the first place where he / she is applying. Each document must be titled accordingly. One student can apply to a maximum of three universities: 

 

Selection procedure:

 

• The application documents are reviewed by the Caucasus University Competition Commission.
• The commission will nominate the selected candidates;
• Provide information / documents on selected candidates to the receiving university;
• Final selection of students by the receiving university;
• The receiving university has the right to require the nominated student to participate in an additional internal competition.
