On the 26th of November a meeting was held in Caucasus University regarding the Jean Monnet Project “Triangle Effect of European Studies at Schools”- (TEESS). The project coordinator Prof. Guranda Tchelidze discussed with experts – Prof. Ekaterine Kardava and Prof. Zurab Bragvadze about the two meetings held in Brussels.
First one was held on the 18th of November - Jean Monnet 2019 Project coordinators kick-off meeting, organized by (EACEA) and the second – on the 19th of November - in honor of the 30th anniversary of Jean Monnet Programs - "European Studies in the Digital Age".
Guranda Tchelidze provided to the experts with a brief analysis of the 2019 Jean Monnet Program competition, project management issues, future collaboration and the Jean Monnet Community Network membership opportunities.
Discussion also was dedicated to the problems regarding teaching Europe in the digital age, Jean Monnet projects on digital research, The European Commission’s Digital Education Action Plan and more, basically, socio-economic and legal implications of digitalization.
In addition to above-mentioned points, experts discussed current organizational issues regarding the preparation of European integration training module for IDPs as well as for ethnic minorities in public schools and the issues related to informing Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport about training module.
