Central and Eastern Europe Scholarship Fund (CEE) - Short-Term Program

The Central and Eastern European Scholarship Fund (CEE) is pleased to announce the call for applications for its 2025 scholarship program, taking place from September 8 to October 27, 2025.

 

This 8-week program focuses on addressing energy and climate challenges in Central and Eastern Europe. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts from the Clean Air Task Force (CATF) and share their experiences.

 

Program Structure:

 

  • Online Modules – Weekly virtual meetings over seven weeks
  • Brussels Workshop – A two-day, in-person workshop in Brussels, Belgium, during the final week of the program

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in economics, environmental sciences, engineering, political science, sociology, or a related field;
  • At least five years of work experience in the climate or energy sector;
  • Experience working in governmental or non-governmental organizations in one of the following countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, or Ukraine;
  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher;
  • Mandatory attendance at the in-person Brussels workshop in the week of October 27, 2025 (all expenses covered);
  • Candidates must be interested in the relevant topics;
  • High level of intellectual interest.
