Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies (CIAS) is pleased to invite applicants for its Research Excellence Fellowship program for the academic year 2025/26.

Most grants are awarded for a period of one or two semesters (5 or 10 months).

CIAS provides research fellowships in the following grant categories:

• Invited research fellow,
• Senior research fellow,
• Junior research fellow,
• Non-resident research fellow.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Doctoral degree or equivalent professional training or experience;
• Outstanding publication history, particularly publications in internationally recognized academic journals;
• Proficiency in English appropriate to the proposed research and/or lecturing to be carried out in Hungary;
• A detailed statement of proposed activity for research (and lecturing);
• Availability at Budapest during the whole grant period (except for non-resident fellows).

The grant amount depends on grant categories and includes:

• Stipend;
• Housing;
• Insurance;
• Family allowance (Spouse and child(ren));
• Travel
