We hereby inform you that The International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) is pleased to announce that interested parties are invited to attend a webinar on March 31, 2025. The main topic of the webinar is “Higher Education: What We Are Facing Globally”.

The meeting will discuss current challenges in higher education, both in the United States and internationally. Discussions will include the impact of recent changes in the education sector by the United States Presidential Administration and the Department of Education.

The webinar will be hosted by:

• Dr. Shawn Chen – President of the International Association of University Presidents. Founder and Chairman of Sia University, China;
• Dr. Fernando Garcia – President of Cetys University, Mexico and Chairman of the International Association of University Presidents;
• Dr. Devorah Lieberman – President Emerita of the Association, University of La Verne;
• Sarah Spreitzer – Vice President and Chief of Staff;
• Dr. Heidi Tseu – Assistant to the Vice President.
