UNESCO MOST Winter School 2026

The Institute of Advanced Studies Kőszeg (iASK), in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Heritage Management and Sustainability and the United Nations University (UNU), invites students to participate in the 8th UNESCO MOST Winter School in Kőszeg, Hungary (February 22 - 27, 2026).

 

The event connects emerging leaders, representatives of non-governmental organizations and members of the United Nations University and UNESCO communities with diplomats, artists and scholars from academic, political and cultural fields.

 

The program is open to: Master’s and doctoral students, young researchers and social entrepreneurs with a professional interest in peace, security and culture.

 

The program will address the following topics:

 

  • New Peace Initiatives
  • Root Causes of Conflicts
  • Cultural Diplomacy
  • Revival of Civil Society
  • Aspects of Human Security
  • Digital Peacebuilding
  • Emerging Regions
  • Knowledge, Peace, and Transformation

 

Application deadline: January 12, 2026.

 

Applicants must complete the application form and upload the following documents:

 

  • 300-word motivation letter
  • CV (with photo)
