The intensive program “Leadership Excellence: Driving Organizational Change and Success”, developed by professors from Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education, is ongoing at the campus of Caucasus University.
As part of the second day of the program, a panel discussion was held on the topic: “Banking Today - Key Considerations for Leaders.”
Before the commencement of the intensive phase of the program, the President of Caucasus University, Professor Kakha Shengelia, met with Professor Laurie Pascal. During the meeting, the parties discussed existing and potential opportunities for collaboration, laying the groundwork for future joint initiatives.
The panel featured the following speakers:
- Lesley Lahm - Regional Manager for the South Caucasus, Asian Development Bank
- Zeinab Lomashvili - Director, ProCredit Bank
- Archil Bakuradze - Chairperson, Crystal Microbank
- Kaori Ishikawa - UN Women Georgia Country Representative and Liaison for South Caucasus
- Maciej Czura - Head of Regional Representation for the South Caucasus, European Investment Bank
The discussion was moderated by the program lead, Professor Laurie Pascal of Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education. Participants of the course were actively engaged in the conversation, sharing their personal experiences and insights.
Notably, the program brings together more than 30 women professionals from the financial sector across the region.
The project is implemented with the support of UN Women Georgia, and funded by the Government of Denmark and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).
