On May 12, Caucasus University hosted Professor Radu Carp from the University of Bucharest.

The working meeting held within the framework of the visit was attended on behalf of Caucasus University by Vice President for Internationalization Irena Melua, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences Davit Natroshvili, Professor of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jean Monnet Professor  Guranda Chelidze, and Director of the International Relations Department Ketevan Karbaia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of the Jean Monnet Chair "European Union for Peace, Prosperity and Security" (EU-PPS) and the prospects for strengthening institutional cooperation between Caucasus University and the University of Bucharest, as well as opportunities for future collaboration within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.

Special attention was paid to the long-standing and successful cooperation between Caucasus University and Romanian higher education institutions, which plays an important role in strengthening the university’s internationalization process and fostering international academic partnerships.
