The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Meets CU students

The Minister spoke about main challenges of Georgia's foreign policy. He spoke about the country's European and Euro-Atlantic integration and the reforms implemented by Georgian government in this direction. Mikhail Janelidze also spoke about Georgia's relations with strategic partners, regional partners and neighboring countries. The Minister put special emphasis on Georgia's involvement in the global projects and spoke about the New Silk Road and Georgia's role in the project.

The Minister also highlighted the situation and challenges on the occupied Georgian territories.

"Our priority in foreign policy is to encourage the country's peaceful and safe development. Our direction to European and Euro-Atlantic integration is firm." – said the Minister.

Students were also addressed by the CU President, Mr. Kakha Shengelia.

At the end of the meeting the Minister answered the students' questions.
