Caucasus University hosted a public lecture on Financial Statement Analysis as part of the Public Lecture Series organized by Caucasus School of Economics. The session was delivered by Nano Samkurashvili - a certified trainer of the SARAS and IFRS Foundation Trainers’ Training Program, a member of ACCA Global, and co-founder of Lino Academy.
The lecture was designed for students specializing in economics, finance, and management. Participants explored the key components of financial statements, principles of financial ratio analysis, and major performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on their practical application in evaluating company performance.
Conducted in an interactive format, the session provided students with the opportunity to analyze real company data through a case-based approach. Participants engaged in hands-on evaluation of financial indicators and discussed effective methods for assessing financial position and formulating sound analytical conclusions.
