University Of Alabama Delegation Visits Caucasus University

On June 16, Kakha Shengelia, the president of Caucasus University, hosted a delegation from the University of Alabama. The visit included professors from the University of Alabama's College of Art and Science: Lisa Pawloski, Tricia A. McElroy, and Edisher Savitski.

 

The visit was of an introductory nature, during which Kakha Shengelia, the President of Caucasus University, and Ketevan Karbaia, the Director of International Relations Department, briefed the University of Alabama delegation on CU’s educational programs, international initiatives, and achievements. The parties agreed to sign a mutual cooperation agreement. This agreement will enable Caucasus University students to participate in semester exchange programs across various disciplines in the future at one of the most diverse state universities in America.

 

It should be noted that the University of Alabama is a public research university that has been offering a diverse array of undergraduate, graduate, doctoral programs, and professional courses since 1969. Currently, the university encompasses 12 main academic divisions and offers over 120 different programs.
