CU Professor Wins University of Michigan Weiser Scholars Program

Caucasus University Professor Maksim Iavich won the University of Michigan (USA) Weiser Scholars Program.

 

In January 2025, Professor Iavich will visit the university (USA) to work as a post-quantum cryptographer with a team of world-renowned cryptographers and cybersecurity experts. During his tenure, he will focus on his research project, “A Post-Quantum Digital Signature Cryptographic System Using Verkle Trees,” in collaboration with Mingyan Liu, who is the College of Engineering’s Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Engineering. In addition, Professor Maksim Iavich was honored with the title of Weiser Scholar, a prestigious recognition of his outstanding contributions to the fields of cryptography and cybersecurity.
