Public Lecture by Beka Dvali

On June 12, within the Public Lecture Series of the Caucasus School of Governance, Caucasus University hosted the public lecture by the Ambassador Preliminary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of South Africa Mr. Beka Dvali on “African vector of Georgia’s foreign policy”.

 

The following topics were discussed at the meeting:

 

  • “What do we want in Africa? – Importance of Georgia’s diplomatic efforts in Africa;
  • Status, main features, challenges and opportunities of Georgia’s diplomatic efforts in Africa;
  • Conflict in Africa;
  • Republic of South Africa: past, present and future development tendencies.

 

The aim of the lecture was to raise students’ awareness and interest on the importance and basic characteristics of Georgia’s foreign policy towards the continent of Africa.

 

At the end of the lecture speaker answered students’ questions.
