On December 4, Caucasus University had the honor of hosting the British Ambassador to Georgia, Mr. Gareth Ward.

The event was opened by the President of Caucasus University, Mr. Kakha Shengelia.

The Ambassador addressed CU students to discuss the key foreign policy challenges, including military and hybrid threats expected to come from Russia. He also touched on current political developments and underscored, in particular, the United Kingdom’s steadfast support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both Ukraine and Georgia.

The Ambassador’s visit generated strong interest among students, who asked questions on deepening bilateral relations, as well as broader issues related to international politics and security. The discussion further explored opportunities for cooperation in the field of education and prospects for expanding academic mobility.
