Caucasus School of Governance announces a competition

Caucasus School of Governance (CSG) announces a competition to fill the academic positions of professor (1 vacant position), associate professor (1 vacant position) in the following areas:

 

  • International relations with a focus on energy security - 1 vacant position
  • Public administration, with a focus on finance and budgeting, regulatory impact assessment - 1 vacancy

 

Professor

 

  • Public administration, with a focus on finance and budgeting, regulatory impact assessment - 1 vacancy

Associate professor

 

  • International relations with a focus on energy security - 1 vacant position

 

Qualification requirements:

 

Professor

 

  • A professor may be selected for a 7-year term if they have a PhD or an equivalent academic degree in the relevant field, with at least 6 years of scientific-pedagogical experience

 

Associate Professor

 

  • An associate professor may be selected for a 7-year term if they have a PhD or an equivalent academic degree in the relevant field, with at least 3 years of scientific-pedagogical experience.

 

A qualified person with a professional mark may be elected to the position of Professor or Associate Professor. In this case, the person's qualification can be confirmed by professional experience, special training and/or publications. A person who has the necessary competence to produce the learning outcomes provided by the program is considered to have the appropriate qualifications.

Interested parties should submit:

 

  • CV in Georgian and English (CV – must include information about teaching and research)
  • A copy of ID;
  • Certificate confirming double vaccination;
  • Copies of documents confirming education (qualification and academic degree/rank) (documents confirming the possession of a doctorate/master's/bachelor's degree or an equivalent academic degree) in the case of doctoral students - notice of enrollment in a doctoral program;;
  • Necessary documentation for authenticity of thesis defense abroad (if any);
  • Certificate of scientific-pedagogical activity and information about workloads in other higher education institutions during the last year;
  • Information about candidate/doctoral and master's topic (topic title, field, direction);
  • Complete information about articles, books, monographs or other scientific works, which includes: the title of the work, the place of publication, the date, the number of pages and the name of the publisher, as well as copies of the outer cover of the work (for the purposes of the competition, the last 5 (five) years data is especially important);
  • Certificates, awards and other documents;
  • Other documentation corresponding to the established criteria for holding an academic/scientific position, documents confirming professional experience.

 

The competition will be held in three stages:

Stage I - Selection of submitted documents

Stage II - Presentation / Interview

Stage III - Summary of the competition.

 

Caucasus University reserves the right to verify the information provided by you, and only selected candidates who pass the first stage will be contacted in the second stage of the competition!

 

 

Date of announcement of the competition: January 11, 2023;

Deadlines: from February 11, 2023 until February 15, 2023;

Competition period: February 2023;

Venue of the competition: Tbilisi City, Paata Saakadze #1;

Competition results will be published in: February 2023
