Caucasus University, Department of Mathematics, announces a competition for the position of invited lecturer

Caucasus University consists of schools of business, law, media, technology, architecture and design, governance, humanities and social sciences, tourism, medicine and healthcare management, economics, education.

 

Caucasus University, Department of Mathematics, announces a competition for the position of invited lecturer in the English language sector, in the following direction:

 

  • Computational mathematics;
  • Mathematical modeling.

 

Qualification requirements:

 

  • A doctoral degree
  • At least 2 (two) years of work experience in the relevant field;
  • 1 (one) year experience of scientific-pedagogical work;
  • English language knowledge at C1 level;
  • Knowledge of consumer programs (MS Office, Mathcad, Matlab and others) in the direction of mathematical modeling.

Applicants are required to provide:

 

  • Resume in Georgian and English (CV - include information about teaching and scientific work, if any);
  • A copy of an identity document;
  • Copies of documents confirming education (qualification and academic degree/rank) (documents confirming possession of doctorate/master's/bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree).
  • Required documentation to verify the legitimacy of an overseas thesis defense;

 

 

The competition will be held in three stages:

 

Stage I - Sorting of submitted documents;

Stage II - Presentation/Interview;

Stage III - Summary of the competition.
