Caucasus University hosted the training sessions with the project - Promoting High-Quality Digital Education in Georgia (PRODIGE)

From February 4-6, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Institutional Development Program-funded project "Promoting High-Quality Digital Education in Georgia" (PRODIGE), a series of training sessions was held for representatives of the consortium member universities.

 

The training sessions were conducted by representatives of Tallinn University of Technology.

 

During the training, participants discussed key aspects of digital education, including:

 

  • Flexibility, accessibility, and scalability of digital education
  • Artificial intelligence, AR/VR, and adaptive learning approaches
  • International best practices and their adaptation to the Georgian context
  • Regulations, quality assurance, and strategic development frameworks

 

This was the first introductory session within the project, which will be followed by number of activities, including additional training sessions, job shadowing, policy development, and other events aimed at advancing digital education in Georgia.

 

The project is supported by the Estonian Quality and International Accreditation Agency and a network of universities, and involves the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE), 10 higher education institutions from Georgia, and other partner educational institutions from Belgium, Estonia, Spain, and Croatia. The project is coordinated by EFMD.
