Caucasus University’s Contribution to EFMD International Partnership

7 February 2025

Irma Grdzelidze, Head of the Department of Strategic Development and the Office of International Accreditation at Caucasus University, has made a significant contribution to the EFMD international partnership collection.

Her work on EFMD’s relationship with Georgia provides valuable insight into the transformation of higher education, highlighting three key projects: TNE (Transnational Education), SQUARE, and PRODIGE.

These projects have led to the creation of new strategies in the Georgian higher education space aimed at implementing the third mission. In response to the regulatory acts of the Quality Center and the Ministry, these initiatives have significantly supported the development of online learning in the country. Among them, the PRODIGE project stands out as especially relevant, fostering the growth of online education and contributing to its future development in Georgia.

Irma Grdzelidze’s contribution to the EFMD Global Business Magazine once again highlights Caucasus University’s dedication to international cooperation, academic excellence, and research. This recognition presents an excellent opportunity to further strengthen CU’s achievements and expand its engagement with the broader academic and business community.

EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to advancing management development. It is widely recognized as an accreditation body for business schools, business school programs, and corporate universities.
