3 November 2025

Caucasus University students recently embarked on an unforgettable study tour to Paris, designed to immerse them in European culture, history, and education while gaining valuable international experience.

The President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, joined the students on this educational journey, exploring the city’s remarkable historical and cultural landmarks together.

The tour was led by Tatya Mtvarelidze, Hellenist and translator.

During the trip, participants visited some of Paris’s most iconic sites — including the Montmartre district, Moulin Rouge, Artists’ Square, Sacré-Coeur Basilica, and the Palace of Versailles. A highlight of the tour was the visit to the Louvre Museum, where students had the opportunity to admire some of the world’s most celebrated masterpieces.

The itinerary also featured visits to Place Vendôme, the Tuileries Garden, Place de la Concorde, the Palais Garnier (Opera House), the Petit and Grand Palais, Pont Alexandre III, the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, and, of course, the Eiffel Tower.

To conclude the journey, the group toured the Musée d’Orsay, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Panthéon, Sorbonne University, and the Latin Quarter — discovering the timeless charm of Paris from every perspective.
