Caucasus University Vice President, Ms. Irena Melua participated in the 28th Annual Conference and Board Meeting of the Network of International Business and Economics Schools (NIBES), hosted by Robert Gordon University's Aberdeen Business School in Scotland.
Sessions, among others, were held on: sustainability, artificial intelligence and research innovations.
The Network members shared information about the new developments and ongoing projects in the universities. In addition, they identified new directions of future cooperation among the members.
Ms. Irena Melua, as a member of the organization’s management board, presented to the partners an evaluation report of the internationalization process within the network, prepared as a result of quantitative research aiming at encouraging and facilitating the process of cooperation among the member universities.
The representatives of the member universities unanimously voted for taking a new member ESCA Ecole de Management, one of the leading business schools in Morocco, in the Network.
The 29th annual conference and board meeting of the Network of International Business and Economics Schools (NIBES) will be hosted by Yuan Ze University (Taiwan) in 2025.
NIBES is an international association that currently unites 21 business and economics schools from 21 countries. The organization has been set up to support student and academic exchange, research and joint academic programs between the member universities.
The fact worth noting is that Caucasus University was granted the status of NIBES member in 2007, at the 11th annual meeting held in Hiroshima, and it is the only Georgian higher educational institution in the organization.
