Certificate Course on Research Ethics and Integrity

The pilot certificate course on Research Ethics and Integrity has already welcomed its second cohort. The course was held from December 9 to February 3.

 

The course was delivered online through the Zoom and Moodle platforms and was led by Tamar Chokoraia, Associate Professor at Caucasus University and Head of the Academic Writing Center. The certificate course was designed for doctoral students and academic staff.

 

Participants were introduced to key issues essential for conducting research, including research ethics and integrity, ethical frameworks and regulations in research, procedures for conducting ethical research, the ethics of scientific publications, and related topics.

 

The aim of the course is to raise awareness of research ethics and integrity in Georgian universities and to promote and support ethical research practices.

 

The certificate course was implemented within the framework of the European Commission -funded project “Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS).”
