On October 23-25, The 18th China-Qingdao Blue Economy International Conference Professionals and Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Conference was held, which among others, was addressed by the President of Caucasus University Dr. Kakha Shengelia. The topic: Creating Sustainability of Higher Educational Institutions in the Digital Era. Within the conference activities of various kinds were conducted, including the summit of Experts of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and a Forum of International Cooperation and international Educational Projects etc.

The conference participants were representatives of universities, public and private organizations from around the world. One of the participants was the Nobel Prize laureate Prof. George Smoot.
