On November 20-21, the auditing and business consulting company BDO held a workshop for the students of the Caucasus University Schools of Business and Economics.
The first day of the meeting was devoted to the discussion of theoretical material, the following topics were discussed:
- Financial accounting, general principles;
- Financial accounting users;
- Components of financial accounting.
Audit:
- Introduction and overview of the audit market;
- Regulation in Georgia and the world;
- Ethics and independence;
- Audit stages;
- Essence;
- Risk identification;
- Internal control mechanisms;
- Audit planning (TOC's, SAP's, OSP's, SSP's);
- Types of audit opinions;
- Practical examples.
And the second day was devoted to the discussion of a practical case.
Students participating in the workshop received gifts and certificates of participation.
