Conference Dedicated to the International Day of Science at the Moldova State University

On November 7-8, the International Scientific Conference "Integration through Research and Innovation" dedicated to the International Day of Science was held at the Moldova State University  in Chisinau.

 

At the conference, papers were presented in the fields of exact and natural sciences, humanitarian and social sciences, economics, and law. They touched on today's challenges and the importance of each field of science in the struggle for peace and development.

 

Guranda Chelidze, professor of the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences, academic head of the European studies bachelor program, professor of the Jean Monnet Chair "European Union for Peace, Prosperity and Security" (EU-PPS) participated in the work of the conference.

 

She presented a report within the EU4JUST section of the Jean Monnet Chair, which touched on the topic of human rights education within the European studies program.

 

It should be noted that one panel of the section was entirely devoted to the issues of Georgia's rapprochement with the European Union, and professors from various Georgian higher education institutions, Jean Monnet chairs, participated in it. Papers were also presented by Moldovan and Romanian researchers. The reports aroused great interest of the attending public. An interesting discussion took place.
