Conference - "European Values ​​and Ideologies"

On June 12, a conference entitled “European Values ​​and Ideologies” was held at the Caucasus University within the framework of the Jean Monnet training module administered by the Caucasus School of Governance (CSG).

 

The conference included a discussion with leading experts in the fields of healthcare and social security, education, and urban planning. The experts discussed European standards and values ​​in their respective fields.

 

• Tengiz Verulava, professor of the Caucasus School of Medicine and the Caucasus School of Business, made a report on European healthcare and social security systems;

 

• Simon Janashia, an education researcher, discussed European education systems;

• Elene Khundadze, a city planner and urban transport specialist, discussed European urban planning practices and values.

 

Each presentation was followed by a discussion on the values ​​and ideological principles behind European healthcare, social protection, education, and urban planning and what we can learn from these experiences.

 

The discussion was moderated by Professor Giorgi Tskhadaia at the School of Governance of Caucasus University.

 

The Jean Monnet Module is co-financed by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program. The grant is awarded in the field of higher education to provide students with innovative and specific content in EU studies.
