CSG Dean at the 6th Transylvanian International Conference, Romania

On 3-5 October, Dean of Caucasus School of Governance, Prof. Eka Akobia participated in the  6th edition of the Transylvanian International Conference in Public Administration (TICPA) organized by the Department of Public Administration and Management at Babes-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania).

 

The overarching topic of the conference was the relationship between community and university, while also looking at how local and regional innovation can be fostered through partnerships between University and community. The conference brought together academics and practitioners from Europe, North America and Asia.

 

As part of the Conference Eka Akobia participated in the opening of the Conference in her capacity as the President of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration (NISPACEE). She chaired a panel as well as delivered a presentation of a research forthcoming research paper.

 

On the sidelines of the conference Dean of CSG had bilateral exchanges with colleagues from participating Universities about possible formats of future cooperation as well as exchanges on best practices in PA education.
