On April 20, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences played host to a meeting dedicated to the National Language Day where students presented reports on the topic of barbarisms and terminology.

The meeting was attended by Professor Tinatin Margalitadze – the Head of the Lexicography Center and Professor Lia Karosanidze - Head of the Department of Terminology and Translational Lexicography at Arnold Chikobava Institute of Linguistics. The guests made reports on the topics: "Impact of the English Language and the Current Processes in Modern Georgian” and "the Georgian Language and Terminology Creation".
