Caucasus University (CSE CSG) and EU Initiative "Mayors for Economic Growth" Joint Training Sessions for Students has Ended.

Participants of the training attended workshops with experts where they discussed how to strengthen the local economy, enhance strategic visions, goals, action, action plans, funding schemes and monitoring. The best experiences for the EU countries in this respect and the challenges and plans facing local municipalities in Georgia.

During the training course, the future plans of cooperation with the M4EG were discussed within the thematic groups. These groups included:

• Business promotion services;
• Tourism;
• Agriculture;
• Information Technologies;
• Promotion of the wine industry;

Within the thematic groups students will be able to collaborate with local municipalities and contribute to the work of local municipalities, taking into account the good experiences of the EU countries, which will facilitate students' involvement and allow them to acquire practical skills.
