On October 13, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Caucasus University and the NNLE Center for Institutional and Opportunity Development (ICDC).
The "Promoting Internship and Learning Opportunities for Students" project is supported by the USAID Economic Security Program (DAI) and the ICDC.
The aim of the project is to develop the practical skills needed for young people to, on one hand, work and promote employment through internships, and on the other hand, to provide qualified human resources to various sectors, to develop business relationships (network) between young people and employers.
The purpose of the memorandum is to prepare students and alumni to participate in the project "Promoting Internship and Learning Opportunities for Students", to strengthen their field competencies through ICDC internships and to develop the practical skills needed for the job.
The project provides internship opportunities for students and graduates in the following sectors - tourism sector, creative industry sector, light industry sector, intellectual services sector and also in the sectors that are important for the development of all industries: (information and communication technology, online commerce, e-commerce, transport, logistics and others).
Within the project, students will have the opportunity to do internships in 5 regions of Georgia - Tbilisi, Imereti, Adjara, Samegrelo, Shida Kartli.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, and Ms. Maka Kukava, President of the Center for Institutional and Capacity Development.
