On 6-12 May, within the framework of Erasmus + Caucasus University's administrative and academic staff visited the Tuscia University, Italy, for one week.
The Caucasus University administration was represented by the Director of Bachelor Degree Programs of Law School Ms. Khatuna Kakabadze, the Director of the Library Ms. Nino Tsimintia, the Head of the Students and Graduates Department Ms. Ketevan Karbaia and the Director of Batumi Branch Ms. Maria Zoidze. On behalf of the academic staff the Tuscia University was visited by Professor Guranda Chelidze and Director of Bachelor and Master Degree Programs of Tourism School Ms. Vardo Kopaleishvili.
On May 7, the program participants were met by Prof. Eduardo Kite, the Head of the Department of International Relations at the Tuscia University. During the meeting, the hosts and the guests discussed the existing cooperation and its future prospects. Along with all the other issues, the host expressed special interest in the Caucasus University new campus.
Within the framework of the visit, the University Administration and the faculty had an opportunity of getting acquainted with the peculiarities of operation of the University Museum and Library. Sharing Italian professors’ experience of working with the audience, listening to the students' presentations and analyzing and evaluating their work was of special importance for the visitors.
At the end of the visit, for Italian students and colleagues Caucasus University professor, Dr. Guranda Chelidze delivered a lecture on "Georgia-European Union Relations".
The guests met exchange program students sent from the Caucasus University to Tuscia University within Erasmus +. The visit included a cultural program – looking round Viterbo and its surroundings.
