On September 21 the Dean of Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mr. David Natroshvili, along with the director of the Department of Foreign Relations, Ms. Irena Melua, welcomed Washington and Jefferson college professor, Michael R. Shaughnessy

At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of cooperation opportunities with the humanities and social sciences as well as the business programs. They agreed upon student exchange programs and the formalization of a bilateral cooperation agreement; planned to cooperate to develop double degree programs in the future; showed interest in realizing cooperative international programs. Also they agreed that in 2019 Caucasus University will host Washington and Jefferson College students for a two-week summer school course.
