The President of the Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia has been elected a Board member of the World University Consortium.  On November 16, organized by the World University Consortium International Conference on Future Education was officially opened, within the framework of which the President of Caucasus University was elected to the office for a three-year term at the meeting of the Consortium Board of Directors.

The participants of the International Conference, outstanding professors from different countries around the globe, representatives of universities and NGOs, politicians and students, were addressed by the President of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), Dr. Kakha Shengelia

At the International Conference, the CU President was recommended to be elected as a full member of the World Academy of Art & Science in the spring of 2018. The membership is timeless.

The World Academy of Art & Science was founded by Albert Einstein in 1955.

The President of Caucasus University was elected the President of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) on July 8, 2017 at the General Assembly of the IAUP.
