On July 4, Young Historians School of Georgian Association of Teachers of History played host to Caucasus University in Tskneti. The aim and objective of the school is to promote history learning among the young generation.

There are 30 students interested in history and 7 teachers from different parts of Georgia in the camp. Professor of Caucasus University, Dr. Guranda Chelidze introduced the young people to Caucasus University campus, the learning environment and the existing academic programs, including Bachelor’s program in History.

Special emphasis was put on peculiarities of History program, including field practice, scientific conferences and learning tours of various kinds; all the questions interesting for teachers and students were answered. Plans were drawn for cooperation in 2018/2019 academic year between Caucasus University students and the faculty of History and the School of Young Historians.
