On January 16, 2025, Caucasus University held a public defense of the dissertation by Miranda Tsintskiladze, a doctoral student in the English-language doctoral program in Management at the School of Business. The topic of the dissertation was “Role of Culture in the Sustainable Development in the Case of Georgia”.

The scientific supervisor of the dissertation was Professor Boris (Buba) Lezhava.

The defense was held before the dissertation board, consisting of the following members:

Boris (Buba) Lezhava, Professor, Vice President for Research and Strategic Development, Caucasus University;

Maka Bughulashvili, Associate Professor, Faculty of Business Administration, International Black Sea University;

David Tsiklauri, Professor, School of Business, Caucasus University;

Vakhtang Partsvania, Professor, School of Business, Caucasus University;

At the defense, the doctoral student presented her dissertation and answered questions, after which the reviewer, Associate Professor of the International Black Sea University Maka Bughulashvili, presented her evaluation.

According to the evaluation of the dissertation board, Miranda Tsintskiladze successfully defended her dissertation and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Management.
