On August 30, a graduation ceremony was held at the campus of Caucasus University. The graduates were awarded diplomas in a celebratory atmosphere. The event was attended by government officials and invited guests, including Shalva Amonashvili, President of the International Association of Teachers, who was awarded the title of Honorary Doctorate.
Caucasus University President, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, invited guests and Deans of schools addressed the graduates. The event was held in compliance with the recommendations issued by the State and the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.
The graduation ceremony traditionally ended with hat throwing and ceremonial fireworks.
