In May, students from the joint hospitality management program embarked on an educational tour to the Lagodekhi protected area. During the visit, Giorgi Sulamanidze, the director of the protected areas, delivered a presentation on Lagodekhi's unique features and the management strategies employed there.

He also discussed the area's biodiversity and the ecotourism services it offers.

Following the presentation, the students had the opportunity to explore the "Vald Hotel Lagodek," situated within the protected area. Here, they received interesting information from the hotel manager in a question-and-answer format.

Finally, the students visited the nature trail with a ranger, received firsthand information about the trail's design and learned about its features directly on-site.
