Students continue education at partner universities

as Poland, Czech Republic, Korea, Estonia, France, Holland, Latvia, Portugal and the United States.

They will be able to complete a structured exchange program that aims to strengthen relations in the sphere of higher education. The program has been developing for several years and there are now 50 partner universities participating. Thus far CU has sent approximately 100 students abroad and this has been throughout the world.

As university's administration says-the main aim of exchange program is increase the motivation of students. Moreover, three highly ranked students are able to continue their studies in the United States and are provided with 100% financial support.

Mariam Beshkenadze was the first in rating of the current year. Mariam is funded for five months (2012 fall semester) of her studies by our university. Mariam has already departed to the US with four other CU students.

She says, "The situation in Georgia State University is better and more interesting than I expected. There is friendly and warm attitude to international and exchange program students; everybody tries to get to know us better, learn about our country and culture; they do their best to help us".

Already they had heard a lot about Georgia and CU at GSU from lecturers who enthusiastically remember all Georgian students who had participated in exchange programs" - declares Mariam Bershkenadze. As already mentioned, she is one the most highly-rated student. She has already spent her first week of studies at GSU in Atlanta (GA, USA) getting adjusted to her program of studies.

The students will return in the spring semester, 2013.
