On March 30, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, hosted the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia, Akbar Ghasemi Aliabadi, the Cultural Attaché, Mr. Hamid Mostafavi and the embassy delegation at Caucasus University.

During the visit, the embassy delegation led by the embassador, Akbar Ghasemi Aliabadi, met with Dr. Shengelia, President of Caucasus University. The sides discussed the strengthening of cooperation and the establishment of cooperation between Caucasus University and leading universities in Iran. They also discussed the creation of a strategic platform to address the technical gaps between the two countries in the field of science.

During the meeting, the delegation of the Iranian Embassy visited the campus of Caucasus University.

It should be noted that this was the first scientific visit of the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia.
