The fact that after starting Presidency of 2014-2017 it was a first meeting deserves a special mention. New, three-year goals, objectives and priorities were determined.

Another issue discussed during the meeting was strengthening cooperation with the UN.
With the view of determining measures needed for expansion of the Organization, separate meetings were held by IAUP regional heads and members of the management board.

Plans were made for celebrating the 50th anniversary of IAUP, which will be held at Wroxton College, Oxford. The venue has a symbolic significance as it is where the organization was first founded in 1965. A Special session - Higher Education 2065 - will be held within the framework of the event.
