On October 2-4, Caucasus University hosted training on Research Methods by Yakoman Vann, Professor of Maastricht School of Management.
The purpose of the training is to increase the competence of the academic staff of Caucasus School of Tourism in research methods.
The event was opened by Ms. Nino Kalandadze, the Dean of Caucasus School of Tourism and Ms. Irena Melua, Director of International Relations and Projects Department.
During the training the participants received theoretical information on the design of qualitative research, research instruments, research ethics, survey techniques and data analysis. They also participated in hands-on activities such as discussions, group and individual work.
The second phase of the project will take place on November 25-27 at Caucasus University and will focus on online marketing, branding and public relations.
The training is held in the framework of the Agro-Tourism project, implemented by Caucasus University with the support of the Netherlands International Development Program (NUFFIC).
