Lectures within the framework of the Bachelor of Arts program

Caucasus University will host online lectures on July 31 and August 1 for those interested in the new Bachelor of Arts program. These sessions will introduce participants to the professionals and mentors who will support their professional development within the program.

Eka Kiknadze is a graduate of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. Since 2006, she has been a Doctor of Art History. She lectures in the history and theory of art. Her scientific interests are 19th-20th century Georgian fine art and cultural policy. She is also the author of scientific works on European and Georgian fine art and architecture.

Natia Tsulukidze is an Associate Professor at Caucasus University. She graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. Her PhD focused on - Georgian Conceptual Art. Synthesis of Painting and Photography. The main topic of her scientific research is the history and theory of contemporary art and photography.

 

She has delivered lectures at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, the International Black Sea University, and Ilia State University. Currently, she collaborates with the Shota Rustaveli Theater and Film University and Caucasus University.

 

As an art curator, she has implemented numerous local and international exhibition projects and founded the Tbilisi Photo Biennale. Through her initiative, the Georgian Society of Amateur Photographers was founded, which established Georgian Photography Day (May 25) – an annual celebration marked by exhibitions and conferences on photography.

 

Within the framework of various international and local grants, she has implemented projects to research and popularize Georgian culture. She has also collaborated with various newspapers and magazines and served as the editor of the newspaper Culture.

 

Natia Tsulukidze is the author of around thirty scientific publications and has published the books: Georgian Conceptual Art: Synthesis of Painting and Photography; Photography as Desire.
