A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between Caucasus University and Medical Center "Diomede". The agreement was formalized by Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, and Nino Dokhnadze, General Director of the medical center.

The cooperation encompasses the retraining of medical personnel employed at healthcare institutions under the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, as well as specialized training in healthcare management. Additionally, students from the Caucasus Medicine School will have the opportunity to undertake internships at the branches of Medical Center "Diomed".

The meeting was attended by Mariam Okruashvili, Dean of the Caucasus Medicine School, along with administrative staff, as well as Merab Marakvelidze, First Deputy Minister of Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Archil Jakeli, Deputy Director of the Medical Center "Diomed", and Giorgi Datuashvili, Head of the Crisis Management Service.
