NISPAcee’s 23rd Annual Conference official opening

The participants were greeted by the President of Caucasus University Mr. Kakha Shengelia and by the President of NISPAcee- Marius Profiroiu.

The event was also attended by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Ms. Thamar Sanikidze and President of National Bank of Georgia, Mr Giorgi Kadagidze as well as by representatives of National Bureau of Public Service and government administration.

On May 20-23, Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Governance, plays host to NISPAcee's 23rd Annual Conference in public administration in Central and Eastern Europe.Read MoreThe Conference will be attended by more than 300 delegates from 30 countries, including professors, scholars, scientists, public officials and students.

10 working teams ( I- Local Governance, II – E-governance, III - Public Governance and Ethics, IV – Public Service Reforms, V – Regional Development and Inter-regional cooperation, VI – Public Finances and Management, VII – Public Policy Analysis, VIII – Education in Public Governance, IX – Local Public Policy, X – Transition, Changes and Confusion) will be cooperating. A few panels and discussions will be organized, including Panel in Open Management, Europization of Public Management Systems and New Models of Public Governance.

The Conference is supported by European Commission, Fridrich Ebert Foundation and Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia.

The NISPAcee Conference provide a forum to encourage the exchange of information and developments in the theory and practice of public administration. The conferences address experts, scholars and practitioners who work in the field of public administration in Central and Eastern Europe (including all countries covered by the NISPAcee membership, the Russian Federation, Caucasus and Central Asia).
