On October 31, Vocational Collage Modusi hosted the final event of the Kvemo Kartli pre-acceleration program, a demo day, organized by Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center with the initiative and support of Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
The primary goal of the pre-accelerator was to assist startups and entrepreneurs in Kvemo Kartli region with developing their business ideas from scratch to product launch and facilitating the submission of a 25,000 GEL regional grant project to GITA.
Over 7 weeks, participants underwent intensive theoretical and practical training sessions led by prominent figures from the startup ecosystem.
The pre-acceleration program trainers included:
- Irakli Svanidze, Acting Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and a guest lecturer at Caucasus University;
- Sandro Kandelaki, Co-founder of Student Hunt;
- Iako Jikia, Co-founder and CEO of Helio.AI;
- Giorgi Razmadze, Co-founder and CEO of Awork.
During the demo day, participants presented their startup ideas to a jury and the attendees. At the end of the event, the jury members—Ana Maisuradze, Project Manager at Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency; Aleksandre Tsintsadze, Founder of Kovzy. Com and Giorgi Chugoshvili, Co-Founder of Phubber App —selected the winning startup, stamo.AI, which Caucasus University awarded a cash prize of 2000 GEL.
The following startups were presented on the demo day:
- Stamo.AI - A web application that transforms blogs into short animated videos, helping bloggers enhance audience engagement.
- Tutorcloud - A digital platform that connects users with tutors in any field they desire.
- MODI - A personalized event platform that directly distributes uploaded events to targeted audiences.
- Biotera - A producer of innovative bio-fertilizers using modern methods, sold through a web platform.
- Kinesthesia - An online platform offering rehabilitation services at users' convenience, allowing them to choose the time and place.
- ScribArt - A platform that connects aspiring authors, editors, and designers, simplifying the process of publishing digital works.
- NikkosEats- A web platform where users can order meals based on their preferred recipes and ingredients, tailored to their budget.
- Arttree - An online gallery of digital art, offering plagiarism-protected and copyrighted works for purchase.
- Gamecrafter AI - A platform for creating digital board games.
