President of Caucasus University Hosts Delegation from the U.S. Embassy Tbilisi

The President of Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia, hosted a delegation from the U.S. Embassy in an introductory meeting aimed at strengthening the partnership between the University and the Embassy, reviewing the outcomes of ongoing projects, and identifying directions for future collaboration.

 

The meeting included representatives from the U.S. Embassy: Harvey Sernovitz, Public Diplomacy Counselor
Eavan Cully, Cultural Affairs Officer Sophie Bzishvili, Higher and Vocational Programs Coordinator. From Caucasus University, the meeting was attended by Irena Melua, Vice President for Internationalization, and Akaki Kapanadze, Director of the Projects Department.

 

During the meeting, Caucasus University presented the initiatives implemented with the support of the Embassy and their results. Particular attention was given to activities carried out under the UCBP (University Capacity Building Program), which significantly contribute to expanding student opportunities, developing academic programs, and strengthening the University’s research and innovation environment.

 

The University also shared its current and future strategic plans. The discussion included potential avenues for further collaboration that would enhance the University’s role in innovation, entrepreneurship, international partnerships, and the overall quality of education.
