Prof. Eka Akobia Participates in EGPA Annual Conference in Glasgow

Prof. Eka Akobia, Dean of the Caucasus School of Governance (CSG), took part in the prestigeouse European Group of Public Administration (EGPA) Annual Conference, held at the University of Glasgow, UK, on 26–29 August 2025.

 

EGPA annual event brings together leading public administration scholars from around the world. This year, it welcomed over 800 participants and featured more than 30 research tracks.

 

At the conference, Prof. Akobia presented her research on decentralization reforms in the context of EU integration. In her capacity as the immediate past President of NISPAcee, she also contributed to the EGPA 50th Anniversary Plenary Session and co-chaired the special NISPAcee–EGPA–IRAS Joint Panel.

 

The Caucasus School of Governance has been a longstanding participant in the NISPAcee network, which provides a valuable international platform for knowledge exchange, enriching CSG’s governance programs at both BA and MA levels, while also fostering the internationalization of its faculty and students.
